What EMS is?
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is an innovative 20-minute full-body training method done once or twice a week. It is the stimulation of the muscles through electrical impulses which allows the training of the whole body and all muscle groups. It is a highly effective and time-efficient method for reducing body fat, increasing muscle strength, strengthening your joints and restoring muscle.
During EMS training the intensity comes through electrical stimulation and not through additional loads such as weights/dumbbells. This allows the body to be trained without additional burden on the joints and the musculoskeletal system.

EMS training uses the body's nervous system and activates muscle tissue through electrical impulses. The goal is to bring the muscles into a state of total contraction. The main difference with conventional training methods is that electrical stimulation allows more muscle fibers to be activated during training. In short, more muscle is activated. The intensity of this effect can be controlled by adjusting the current itself and the exercises performed. EMS has been shown to significantly reduce back pain. In some cases, EMS clients have even reported complete relief of their (chronic) back problems. By increasing both muscle tone and blood flow to adjacent tissues, EMS can also have a beneficial effect on cellulite problems.
Yes. Low-frequency pulses only affect striated skeletal muscles, which means it does not affect the heart and organs.

- Fracture Plates/Screws
Before your first session, your trainer will go over the list of medical exemptions with you to make sure it is safe for you to train.
The electrical pulse involved with the EMS system is very low frequency and completely safe, and will not cause you pain or discomfort as you exercise.
We provide special EMS uniforms for each customer. These special cotton suits are designed to retain moisture, giving better contact with the electrodes which are placed in the muscles. The purchase of the special EMS uniform is mandatory and must be worn at every training session.
